5/14/17 Happy Mother's Day! Our 2nd Graders put a lot of love and creativity into their gift!
5/16/17 We are watching The Boxcar Children movie today! My second graders enjoyed our Read Aloud Time that included Books 1-3. We will enjoy some time together viewing the movie while sharing popcorn and water. Afterwards, we'll compare/contrast Book #1 and the movie!
5/16/17 Today we took a walking field trip to the Ladd Public Library and then stopped at Ladd's War Memorial Park. Since we had researched the Veteran's Memorial Monuments by visiting villageofladd.com earlier in the day, our visit and observations were meaningful and purposeful. We even brought some paper/crayons and made some monument rubbings (laying white paper over the names and rubbing the paper with the side of a crayon).....so many names to recognize, read and be grateful for.
5/18/17 2nd Grade Lemonade Stand 9:00-9:50, 10:30-11:00 and 12:30-2:30 Bring your pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters! Lemonade is 25 cents and cookies are 10 cents. We will also be selling our signature 100th Day Trail Mix Snack for 35 cents!
